Understanding Disability
As of 2024, the Australian Bureau of statistics reports that 5.5 million people live with a disability, that is 21.4% of the population.
For some their disability may be mild to moderate, but for others it can be severe and profound.
Disabilities come in many varieties and can be physical, to intellectual and psycho-social.
